The Villa is a five minute drive to the beach at Anse Chastenet, which is world famous for a beautiful offshore reef for snorkeling. Anse Chastenet also hosts one of the best dive schools. The town of Soufriere with its bustling food market vendors, and its brightly coloured houses is also five minutes’ drive. There are excellent restaurants at the Sugar Beach and Ladera Resorts south of the town of Soufriere and local restaurants in and around Soufriere.
The botanical gardens and the health giving volcanic mud baths are ten minutes’ drive from the Villa. Villas in Soufriere are in demand for Vacation Rentals, and Bananaquit can provide, a good income, in addition to being a superb large family vacation home.

Bananaquit has been beautifully developed over the last two years with large open living spaces leading onto a beautiful pool with views of the majestic Pitons. The large lounge and dining area lead onto an open patio. The Villa has seven bedrooms and five bathrooms and can comfortably sleep fourteen people.

Entry to the property is via a pool/barbeque terrace which features a fenced-in swimming pool and leads into the main living area. This takes the form of an expansive open-fronted gallery that extends along the full width of the house and comprises an open-plan living and dining area with fantastic views over the sea towards the majestic Pitons. In order to make the most of the unique view, the entire front of the gallery comprises a fold-away wall made up of oversized, shuttered jalousie doors that slide easily back into place should the need arise.
Towards the rear of the entry level and adjacent to the dining area, is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. A short landing and corridor separate the kitchen from a laundry room and ample storage and cupboard space.
An upper, semi-open mezzanine level overlooking the main gallery is configured as a children’s bedroom/dayroom, but would be equally suitable as a library or study area.
